Howard Wayne Case was born on March 31, 1946 in Burley, Idaho to Lennox Merl Murdoch Case and Joseph Wayne Case. Howard wasn’t the baby for long because the twins, Ruth and Reid, joined the family 17.5 month later.
Howard attended school in Burley and after graduation went to Ricks College (BYU-I), and transferred to many other schools until he settled at Idaho State University (ISU). After 10 years of school, the registry office called him in and told him that it was time to graduate; He obviously loved college life. He graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Business in Finance
After graduation he had a logging company in Ashton, Idaho; He shipped mine timbers to other states. Howard finished his work life at the Idaho National Laboratory doing Program Controls. Howard enjoyed life to the max by skiing, golfing, and camping with friends. He had a passion for reading and was always seen with a book or magazine in his hands.
While in college Howard met his wife, Marla LeCheminant, they spent 45 years together raising a family and traveling the world. They had 2 children Andrew Wayne Case (Drew) and Mary Ellen Case. He was a caregiver for them during their early years. They were his whole life. He always gave them opportunities to travel. He always was there to show them that they were number one in his life. He enjoyed participating in boy scouting with Drew and skiing with Mary.
Howard passed away on April 11, 2022 in Idaho Falls, Idaho with his wife by his side. He will be missed by his wife, Marla; his children, Drew (Megan) and Mary (Sanji); his grandchildren, Keegan, Riley, Emma, and Enzo; and his sister, Ruth (Dan) Lybbert. Howard was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Reid.
