Condolences may be made to Jake's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Jake was born July 15, 1973 in Weiser, ID. Jake married Jennifer Packer on December 12, 1992. During that union, two of the most amazing children were born; Trenton Wayne Friedley and Brittney Nicole Friedley. He loved his children more than anything in this world and he was so very proud of them each and every day. In September of 2010 Jake met the woman he would love the rest of his life, Marcy Bybee. Jake loved dirt bike riding with the "Burgdorph gang" his daughter Brittney and friend Brian, camping, hunting with Josh, wheeling in the snow with the "Mann Creek Gang" and mostly just hanging out with family and many friends. Jake was a family man and had so many amazing friends and touched so many lives.
Jake is survived by the love of his life Marcy Bybee; his parents Gary and Bonnie Friedley - Weiser, Nancy and Sam Patterson - Payette; siblings Tommy (Angie) Garcia - Payette, Sid (Kristy) Patterson - Parma, Jill (Ryan) Karasek - Bremerton, WA, Rob (Holly) Patterson - Nampa, Nick Laird (Mindy) - Weiser and Matthew (Laci) Friedley - stationed in Texas; two beautiful children Trenton Friedley stationed in Pennsacola, Florida and Brittney Friedley - Middleton, Idaho; nieces and nephews Makaya, Tai, Jack, Samantha and Pearl. Jake is also survived by Marcy's daughter Kelsey and her sons Tylar and Kellen along with so many amazing friends that have been there for him throughout his entire life's journey. The family would like to thank the MSTI Clinic in Fruitland for all of their wonderful help and support along with the 4th Floor nursing staff at St. Luke's in Boise and St. Luke's Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MSTI Clinic in Fruitland, Idaho or an account has been set up under the Friedley Trust Fund Account for his children at Intermountain Community Bank. The one thing Jake will be remembered most for is his "contagious" smile and laughter.
