Jim was born Feb.23rd 1931 in Rapid City S.D. He spent most of his childhood years in the Star Valley area. Jim served 2 years in the army. After the Military he eventually moved to Idaho Falls where he met an old childhood friend Beula Ashment and they were later married in 1955. Jim owned and ran Chesak Chevron until he deicide to change careers and became a Carpet Layer which he did until his retirement. Jim liked to fish,hunt and play cards and dice games. His favorite passion though was golfing, but teasing people was thing he did the most. Jim is suvived by his wife Beula Chesak of Idaho Falls, sons: Allen Chesak (Janet) of Rigby, Carter Oakden of Idaho Falls and daughter Gaylene Burkhart (Mike) of Idaho Falls and three grandchildren and 6 great grand children. He was preceeded in death by his daughters Patsy Pierce and Myrna Chesak. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday June 4, 2012 at Buck Miller Hann Funeral Home.
