Janice Marie Perez

Janice Marie Perez, 77, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015, at her home in Idaho Falls. She was born on June 4, 1938, in Idaho Falls, to Manuel and Zola Hanson Denning. She attended schools in Idaho Falls. She married Cecil Padilla Perez on February 23, 1957, in Idaho Falls. She was a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Community. Janice enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, reading, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Cecil Padilla Perez of Idaho Falls; son, Terry (Kathy) Perez of Idaho Falls; daughters, Calista Perez and Rosemary (Spencer) Brookshier, both of Idaho Falls; sisters, Juel Campbell of Twin Falls, Gwen Stevens of Idaho Falls, Gail Soliday of Idaho Falls, Irma Cornwall of Pocatello, Lois Dunn of Rupert, Carole Dunham of American Falls; brothers, Dennis Denning of Idaho Falls, Phillip Denning of Twin Falls, Dean Denning of Leslie; six grandchildren, Tanya (Ho) Perez, KC (Tami) Perez, Travis (Leslie) Perez, Gus Brookshier, Alexandra Brookshier and Gabrielle Brookshier; and six great grandchildren, Rhiannen Perez, Kenten Perez, McKenna Perez, Kagen Perez, Colbie Perez, and Rosalie Brookshier. She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Denning, mother, Zola Denning, brothers, Dell, Deloss and Duane Denning. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 145 9th Street in Idaho Falls, with Father Raul Covarrubias, celebrant. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Idaho Falls. A Rosary will be held from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, with a viewing from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. both at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls.
