John Andrew Milloway

John was raised on a farm in Orangeville, PA and was educated in that area. He joined the Navy in 1957. He married Patricia Perkins in PA in 1965. Together they joined the staff of Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. In 1966 He began studying for the ministry. He graduated from Appalachian Bible College in 1972 with an AA degree. He went on to receive a BS and Master of Ministry degrees through external studies with Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburg, IN. He faithfully served the Lord in ministries in CA, MT and ID. He worked with youth in a migrant camp in CA. He did a church planting work in Clyde Park, MT. In Idaho he pastored the Dubois Community Baptist from 1983-1988. He worked with the Christ Community Church from 1989-1993 in Idaho Falls. He was the pastor of Ririe Chapel in Ririe, Idaho for the past 11 years and was currently pastoring there at the time of his death. John was devoted to his family, friends and his ministry. He showed many what it was to have faith and trust God. He had a joyful spirit and a sense of humor that brought happiness and smiles to the lives of many. John is survived by his wife, Patricia of Idaho Falls; his sons, Jonathan of Idaho Falls, Joel of Blackfoot, James (Kristen) of Idaho Falls, Jeremy (Kimberly) of Terreton; his daughter, Jennifer (Justin) Hays of Victor; along with 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grand children. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls. He was born on January 21, 1938, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Newland and Edith Milloway.
