John Patrick Morgan

John Patrick Morgan, 88, a resident of Idaho Falls, passed away September 4, 2021, at home.  He was born July 21, 1933, in Pocatello, Idaho, to John William Morgan and Helen Dorothy Schwarzman.

He served in the Army during the Korean War.

He married Joan Rae Carl on July 16, 1955.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
John was employed at the Idaho National Laboratory for 43 years and worked at the Idaho Chemical Processing Plant (ICPP).  He retired in 1996.  He was instrumental in obtaining many patents during his career as an engineer.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joan Morgan of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his son, John Carl Morgan of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his daughter, Laura Ann Morgan of Idaho Falls, Idaho. 2 grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John William Morgan and Helen Dorothy Schwarzman Morgan, his daughter, Ellen Dorothy Morgan, and sister, Helen Dorothy Morgan Carl.
