In 2000 he and Helen returned to Twin Falls and purchased a new home, but they still wintered in Palm Springs. John enjoyed the evenings he spent in his driveway visiting with close neighbors and always had a wave to all from the front window in the morning. His grandsons were a joy and big help to him.
