Joy Ann Gritzenbach

Joy Ann Gritzenbach, age 64, of Idaho Falls, passed away at her home Thursday March 13, 2014. Born November 6, 1949 in Chicago, Il. Father, John Peter Serafin, Mother, Josephine Julia Gawdzik. Joy moved to Flagstaff, AZ in 1974 and worked for the City of Flagstaff for 15 years. She attended Northern Arizona University and received a degree in Nursing in 1997. Nursing brought her to Idaho Falls in 1998 when she got a job at EIMC. Joy was a a veteran, served in the National Guard for 25 years with one tour in Iraq, she was medically discharge and retired in 2007. Joy was an avid outdoors woman, she enjoyed spending her time fishing and hunting. She is survived by three sons - Rick Gritzenbach, Marc Gritzenbach of Murfreesboro, TN, Shane Gritzenbach of Rexburg, ID, Two daughters- Julianna Wilder of St Louis, MO, and Jody Serafin of St. Louis, MO, she is also survived by 7 grandchildren. Family service will be held at a later date.
