Kay Richardson, 76, of Idaho Falls, Idaho entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of December 14, 2019 surrounded by her family at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from complications following a procedure.
She was born March 2, 1943 to Elmer and Arvilla Richardson in Tulare, California. She grew up in that area and worked for the Social Security Administration for 36 years and retired in 2002. November 2015 she moved to Idaho Falls with her family and lived at Morning Star Senior Living until the very end. She loved all her friends that she met there and enjoyed playing bingo, participating in the events and travels that was available to her. She was a model and devoted Christian, went to Church there at Morning Star.
She never married or had children of her own. She had many nieces, nephews and friends children who seen her as "Aunt Kay", they respected, loved and adored her dearly. She was always so understanding, listened and gave her friendly advice to anyone who came to her and needed someone to talk too.
Kay was proceeded in death by her sister Marjorie Youngblood, brother-n-law, Jim Youngblood, parents Elmer and Arvilla Richardson and two older sisters. She is survived by one niece, Lisa (Mike) Sigman, two grand nieces and one grand nephew; Ashley(Anthony) Hill, Kyle Chrisco and Emmali Sigman, eight great grandnieces and nephews; Jaevhen, Alexis, Aubree, Abigail, Bently, Payton, Braxton, Hannah, and many cousins.
The family wishes to extend the sincerest appreciation to the employees and residents of Morning Star for all their love, support and care during our time of loss. We also would like to extend a special thank you to the staff in ICU at EIRMC for their excellent care and attention they showed Kay and her family during a difficult time. It feels like our best friend is gone. We are so blessed to have had her in our life. We all know and are comforted knowing she is in Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ and Marjorie and Jim "The Three Musketeers are Back Together Again!"
