Kenneth Daryl Farley, 61, of Ontario, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 in Boise, Idaho. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday February 18, 2012 at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel in New Plymouth. Pastor Mike Allen will officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Payette. Friends may call from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. Saturday Feb. 18, 2012 at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel in New Plymouth, Id. Kenneth was born on July 8, 1950 to Earl Willis and Peggy Jane (Friend) Farley in Boise, Idaho. He joined the U. S. Marines Corps in 1967 as a corporal. While in the service he received his GED. He served Honorably till 1970. While in the service he received 2 Purple Hearts, NDSMDL, VSN W/4*, VCM W/Device, CAR, RVN Cross of Gallantry (Unit Award). After the service he worked in the Merchant Marines as a 3rd mate till retiring in 2003. He was a member of the Baptist Church and Elks Lodge 1943 in Myrtle Creek, OR. Kenny was interested in the Civil War History and loved cat fishing. He is survived by his Mother, Peggy Carte of Portland, OR; His five brothers, Steven Farley of Astoria, OR; Keith Farley of Lake Havasu, AZ; Greg Farley of New Plymouth, ID; Larry Farley of Portland, OR; Mark Farley of Portland, OR; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
