Her family lived a short time in Boise before moving back to New Plymouth where she attended school from the third grade until graduating in 1977. Kim married Jim Presher in March of 1978 and they made their home in Fruitland. Together they had two boys; Robert in 1979 and Josh in 1981. They later divorced. Kim married Phil Zueger on July 8, 1994 and her family grew to include Phil's sons, Josh and Cody.

She worked mostly in in local pizzaria's. In 1997, Kim and Phil bought a pizza parlor in New Plymouth where she operated the pizza parlor with the help of her mother, Skip, for the next 10 years. She also operated a day care out of her home prior to buying and after selling the pizza parlor.

Kim was an excellent cook; she and Phil would hold many birthday parties, Christmas dinners, and summer backyard BBQ's at their home. Kim loved collecting Coke memorabilia, the color red, antique cups and saucers, traveling to the Oregon Coast, going to yard sales and auctions, gambling at Jackpot, and her grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to see her favorite country singer, Trace Adkins, or let people know how she felt about his cowboy hat and pony tail. "Nana" Kim and "Papa" Phil were dedicated to their grandchildren; attending as many of their activities as possible and taking family trips and vacations together. Kim took great pride in her yard; always keeping it decorated for the seasons and holidays.

She is survived by her husband, Phil Zueger of Fruitland; her mother, Skip Kubal of New Plymouth; her sons, Robert Presher (Brandi) of Fruitland and Josh Presher (Jessi Probert) of Fruitland; a brother, Jeff Kubal (Tina Tropf and her sons Derek and Aaron) of New Plymouth; her step sons, Josh Zueger (Melissa) of Payette and Cody Zueger (Tammy) of Fruitland; seven grandchildren, Harley Presher, Hailey, Jordan and Justin Presher, Benelli, Oliver and Claira Zueger; a nephew, Nick Kubal of Fruitland; her mother-in-law, Margaret Zueger of Boise; brother-in-laws, Mark Zueger of California , Joe Zueger (Teresa) of California and John Zueger of Vale, OR; sister-in-laws, Agnes Zueger of Tigard, OR, Trisha Zueger of Boise, Chris Zueger of Gladstone, OR, and Barb Durtra (Scott) of Boise, and Martha Davis (Jason) of Kaiser, OR; her uncle, Dale La Crone (Karen) of New Plymouth; her aunts, Ila Schilling of Fruitland, Terry Frates (Mike) of New Plymouth, and Penny La Crone of New Plymouth; as well as family on her father's side; and many cousins. She is also survived by her best friend since childhood, Cindy Blevins and her husband Allen of New Plymouth.

Kim is preceded in death by her father, Jess Kubal; her maternal grandparents, Walker and Geneta La Crone; and a brother-in-law, Ray Zueger.
