Larry D. "Dutch" Looslie, 80 of Idaho Falls, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at his home. He was born on February 5, 1935 in Rupert, ID to Marvin Orville and Katherine (Rousch) Looslie and was raised in Paul, ID where he lived until moving to Salt Lake City where he attended college at the University of Utah where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. He married Donna Wells on August 9, 1953 and they eventually settled in Idaho Falls where he worked as a potato salesperson with Sun Spiced, Inc. where he spent most of his career and later with Wada Farms until he suffered a stroke in 1992. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Idaho Falls. Larry is survived by his wife Donna of Idaho Falls; son Curtis and wife Arlene; daughter Cassie; three grandchildren: Caleb, Latavia and Axle; and three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Sandy Sperry and Crystal Taylor; and a brother Wayne Schorzman. He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Chris Lewayne Looslie. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E 17th Street, Idaho Falls, ID followed by a light reception with refreshments also at the funeral home.
