Larry James Shepherd, 64, of Rupert, Idaho died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at his home.
Larry was born July 4, 1947 in Twin Falls, Idaho the son of Floyd and Margaret McCabe Shepherd. He was raised and educated in Twin Falls County. He graduated with an Associate's Degree from Idaho State University. Larry married Cricket Eshelman on August 13, 1977 in Pocatello, Idaho.
Following their marriage they moved to Rupert where Larry operated Shepherd Construction Company for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife; Cricket on May 4, 2009.
Larry is survived by his sons; Jason (Alissa) Shepherd of Twin Falls and Duff (Petra) Wagnon of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Three grandsons; Austyn Shepherd, Elliot Shepherd and Brody Wagnon. One brother; Terry (Marje) Shepherd and two sisters; Diana (George) Urie and Joy Hill .
A memorial service for Larry will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Paul Congregational Church.
