Bill Lawrence Schulz, 85, passed away on December 17, 2013 at Grays Lake. He was born on November 25, 1928, in Galena, Missouri, to Lawrence W. and Tessie Blunk Schulz. Bill's younger years were spent between Grays Lake and Eden, where he attended school to age 13, until having to quit, to run the sheep with his step-father, Earnest Lombard. He was a farmer and rancher all of his life in Wayan and Grays Lake area until his death. He was a member of the Catholic Church. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children. His dog Belle was his best friend and true partner. Since his granddaughter Keltsey Herzog gave her to him in 2004.
Survivors include two daughters, Lynda (Jim) Evan of Salmon, and Kellie (Shaun) Herzog of Elko, Nevada; one son, Kent (Kerry) Schulz of Elko, Nevada; two brothers, Gene (Sharon) Lombard of Twin Falls, and Earnest (Rhonda) Lombard of Eagle; and one sister, Joan (John) Metzler of Filer; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tessie Lombard, his step-father, Earnest Lombard, his father Lawrence Schulz and his sister Chris Lesbo.
A memorial service will be held later in the spring of 2014. Arrangements are under the direction of Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home in Idaho Falls
