Linton Harold Collier, age 84, passed away on December 30, 2010. Lin was born October 17, 1926 in Los Angeles, CA, son of Harold and Sarah Collier. Lin grew up in Hollywood and graduated from Fairfax High School, a champion gymnast and football player. He joined the Navy during World War II and served honorably overseas. He married Dorothy (Dolly) Esther Taylor in 1948. Lin attended Pierce Agricultural College in Woodland Hills, CA. He and his father owned and operated a service station in Hollywood, and then in Newport Beach. In 1968 he moved his family to Bellevue, ID and purchased a dairy farm. After farming he kept himself busy repairing dental equipment and windshields. Lin was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors and took pleasure in working with his hands. Lin is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dolly; sons Dennis (Marjorie), Timothy, Randy (Kathryn), and daughter Debra Sarah Meinke (Eric); 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
