Lonnie A. Sippel passed away in his home of natural causes March 27, 2018 at the age of 75. Lonnie was born in Salina, Kansas On September 9, 1942 to Arthur C. Sippel and Artha E. (Bogart) Sippel.
He started his life in Salina KS and became a farmer and custom harvester. He moved to Star Valley, WY. then on to Ririe, ID. Where he did custom harvesting and was a well loved mechanic. He harvested crops in many different states. He could fix any kind of machinery or manufacture any part he needed. He loved grain harvest and combining for area farmers. He was a hard working man that would not stop until the job was done. He loved aviation, airplanes and helicopters. He was a happy, mild tempered, simple man with a big kind heart. He would help anyone in need. He would drop what ever he was doing to help his friends and neighbors. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge and will be greatly missed by many.
Lonnie is survived by his long time companion, Kate Fritze, two brothers Steven and Rodney, two sisters Linda and Leta, extended family and a host of valued friends.
Interment will be in Gypsum, Kansas at a later date. A graveside service will be held for family and friends.
