Lou was born Feb. 11, 1938 in Plainview, AR. Lou's passion was like his Savior's in that he was a lover of souls. Music was a love of Lou's and God blessed him with many songs. He loved the old time gospel music. Lou and his wife Jan started The Gospel Opry in Spokane, WA in 1996 and from there birthed multiply Opry's across the region and in other states; the most recent in Quartzite, AZ. The call of God in Lou's life took them many places around the country where he ministered in both word and song. Lou's ministry will continue to change lives through the legacy he has left us. Lou will be greatly missed by all who love him. How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things. Romans 10:15
