Lupe Sanchez Ruiz, 77 of Idaho Falls, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016. She was born on June 8, 1938 in Taylor, TX to Lupe Sanchez and Maria Robles. In 1951, she married Navel Ruiz and they moved to Montana and later divorced. She was a migrant worker working harvests between Montana and Texas. In 1971, she started working for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and later went to work at District 7 Health Department where she received her certification for Basic Homemaker and Home Health Training Aide in 1980. After her retirement, she was a stay at home mom, taking care of her youngest son Anthony. She enjoyed bowling, dancing and spending time with her family, doing puzzles and home improvement projects. Lupe is survived by her children: Jesse and wife Edith, Emma, Dorothy, Ray, Linda and Anthony; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one brother James Sanchez. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister Delores Robledo.
