Margaret Louise Riggs

Margaret Louise Riggs, 86, of Payette and formerly of Santa Paula, CA, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at home with her family. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 23, 2012 at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Payette.
Margaret was born May 26, 1925 in Santa Paula, CA to Quincy Price and Charlotte Abagail (Tuckness) Clegg. She loved her music and sang in Dr Kenny Baldwins Dance Band all over Ventura County during the 60's.
Margaret married Robert Thomas Riggs Sr. at the Geta Green Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, NV on November 1, 1941. She retired from Security Pacific Bank after 35 years. She was a member of the Red Hatters Club, the Friday Musical, Garden Club and the First Christian Church in Payette. Her hobbies were gardening, knitting, scrapbooking, playing cards and bingo.
Margaret is survived by her sons, Robert Thomas Riggs Jr. and Kenneth Quinton (Valerie) Riggs all of Payette; her brothers, Delbert (Rose ) Clegg of San Luis Obispo, CA and Ray (Mildred) Clegg of Riverside, CA; three grandchildren, Jamie Riggs, Cable Riggs and Terra Riggs; one great granddaughter, Deseree Riggs and one great grandson, Deklin Brown.MARGARET L.
