Margaret Mary Stoneberg

Margaret Mary Stoneberg, 55, passed away on December 7, 2013, at Eagle Rock Assisted Living in Idaho Falls. She was born on February 2, 1958, in Idaho Falls to Arne George Stoneberg and Eleanor Mae Stoneberg. Born and raised in Idaho Falls, Margaret attended local schools and graduated from Idaho Falls High School and was active in pep club. Plagued by mental illness in her late teens, she was a long-time resident in assisted-living facilities in Ucon and Rigby, before returning to Idaho Falls. Margaret was recognized by face and welcomed by name at the nearby convenience stores. She enjoyed shopping, eating out, watching football, camping, and going to the movies, and shared a special connection to her sister, Berta. Always quick to greet people with "Hello Sweetie, don't you look nice today," Margaret had a loving soul. Those who knew her well were blessed by her bright eyes and her sense of humor. She died from pancreatic cancer. We love you Beautimus. She is survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister, Larry Stoneberg of Boise, ID; Mark Stoneberg (Lorie) of Idaho Falls, ID; Ken Stoneberg (Susan) of Rigby, ID, and Berta Oates (Mike) of Ogden, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Keith Stoneberg. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 East 17th Street in Idaho Falls, with Deacon Wence Rodriquez, officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls. Suggested memorial contributions can be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute or Pancreatic Cancer Society. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank all the care providers, especially the ACT Team and the Eagle Rock Assisted Living Facility for their unconditional love and support.
