Maria Nola Holverson

IDAHO FALLS - Maria Holverson, 59 of Idaho Falls died Monday, December 17, 2012, at the Easter Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. She was born on December 24, 1952, in Salmon, the daughter of David W. And Donna N. Daniels Manary. Maria moved with her family from Salmon to Idaho Falls at the age of eight. She finished most of the 12th grade until marring Leon Miles. They later divorced. Maria married Larry Holverson on September 27, 1975, in Idaho Falls. He preceded in death on December 30, 2008. Maria worked at the West Bank Restaurant and the North Hiway Café before taking on the great responsibility of being a mother and homemaker. She was an active member of the Catholic Church. Maria loved animals, arts and crafts, gardening, scenic drives and wildlife. She had a great love for her family and friends and a very memorable laugh. Survivors include her mother, Donna N. Daniels of Ammon; a daughter Teresa M. (Ricky) Loyd of Idaho Falls; a step-son Todd Holverson of Idaho Falls; five grandchildren, Dakota Lew of Ammon, Orrin and Emma Loyd, Kenny, Nickolas Holverson all of Idaho Falls. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her father, a son David Miles and daughter Valerie Lew. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2012, at Holy Rosary Catholic church, on the corner of 9th and Lee in Idaho Falls, with Father Raul Covarrubias, celebrant. Burial will follow at the Ammon Cemetery in Ammon. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls.
