Martin Lee Boxberger

October 24, 1955 — April 21, 2015

Martin Lee Boxberger, 59, of New Plymouth, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at a care facility in Nampa. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 27th at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, New Plymouth with Pastor Susan Howe officiating. Burial will follow at Park View Cemetery, New Plymouth. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, New Plymouth.
Martin was born Oct. 24, 1955 in Ontario, OR. He spent his first four years of school in Huntington, OR; his family then moved to a farm in Ontario where he graduated from high school and T.V.C.C. He worked at Witco for a year or more before deciding to go to a four year college, Southern Oregon University, where he graduated with degrees in Business Law and Accounting. While in college he worked at the college radio station - he had the voice for it. After college he came back to Ontario where he worked for Idaho Seed until the business closed, then at a telephone answering service, ending his working days with New Homestead Log Homes before going on disability. Martin was talented in painting and art and he enjoyed doing model cars as well as playing video and board games.
He is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents; his father Ted; his brother Ted Eugene; five uncles and two aunts.
Martin is survived by his mother Beneta Boxberger; sisters Vonna Cuff (Bruce) and Shera Stacy (Mike); nieces Tabitha Henderson (Matt), Lydia Sanders (Will) and Melissa Gibson (Chris); nephews Josiah Cuff (Jennifer), Gideon Cuff, Robert Stacy, Ben Stacy (Vanessa) and Chris Stacy (Sierra Brown); friend, Syd Williams; two great nephews five great nieces, four aunts, three uncles and numerous cousins.
