Maurine "Kit" Moon, 86 of Twin Falls died Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Rosetta Assisted Living Center.
Kit was born June 3, 1925 at Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of Alva and Ruth Broadbent Hendrickson. She married Kenneth James Moon. She worked as the Women's Department Manager at Ropers Clothing for many years.
She was president of the Women's Golf Association at Twin Falls Municipal Golf Course in the 1970's and early 1980's and was also a member of the Twin Falls Parks and Recreation in the early 1980's.
She is survived by her son; Walter Grey Moon of Mission Viejo, California. Three grandchildren; Lee, Tiffany, and Courtney and one great grandchild; Lee, V.
Graveside services for Kit will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2011 at Twin Falls Cemetery. Services are under the direction of White Mortuary "Chapel by the Park". To share a memory of Kit or to offer condolences to Kit's family please visit www.whitemortuary.com
