He had a heart of gold and the simplest things in life brought him joy, like being a part of a team, hanging out with his friends, watching sports on TV with his parents, bow hunting and fly fishing with his dad and teasing his older sister. Michael took the Oath of Enlistment for the United States Navy on September 4, 2014, he was scheduled to ship out in August 4, 2015, and be a Master at Arms for the United States Navy.
