Michel Robert Runcorn was born January 19th 1947 to Robert and Dorothy (Lundy) Runcorn in Nyssa, Oregon. He was the second child of three. He contributed to the farm work, the finances and the care of his sisters Marylin and Krysten, after his father passed when Mike was just 7 years old. He was an athlete and graduated from Parma High School. He worked hard every day of his life. By trade Mike was a skilled meat cutter and played an active role in the union organization. He married his love Sharon Joyce Clary ("Peach"), on March 10th 1967. They raised their two children Mat and Angie in Payette. He shared his work ethic and love of the outdoors with his children and grandchildren. He cherished Sunday drives with his wife. He cared for her with devotion after her retirement in 2013. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. The Oregon Coast was always a special place where he would spend long hours looking out at the ocean, combing the beach and driving the coastline looking at sights and seeking out fresh oysters. His grandchildren Gaage, Aubbrey, Maggie and Paige were the Apples of His Eye. He is survived by his wife Sharon, his son and daughter in-law Mat and Peggy Runcorn, daughter Angie Gross, grandchildren Gaage, Aubbrey, Maggie and Paige Runcorn, two sisters, Marylin Clemons and Krysten Cox and Aunt Lela (Runcorn) Medairy, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
