He lived on a farm in Vale, OR near the butte. After Myron graduated from Vale Union High School he joined the United States Navy or as he called it the "Canoe Club". Sometime after being honorably discharged and returning home he married Doris Phillips. They were married for 37 years until her death in 2006. He then found Susie and they have been married for 8 years. Susie was a loving and caring wife and was always by his side taking care of him. Myron drove pilot cars for years. He was a hard worker but loved to joke around and tell stories that were funny. Myron never drank alcohol, just coffee with a "pound" of sugar. He had a cat that would eat ice cream in the evenings with him and his favorite place to hang out was Meechans in Payette; he loved being out and about. Myron was a kind, caring man who had a good personality and would help anybody out; he liked everyone and was liked by all that knew him or just met him. Myron is survived by his wife, Susie Foiles of Payette; two sons, John Foiles of Boise and William Foiles of Ontario; three sisters, Manerva Foiles of Fruitland, Mary Altizer of Ontario and Ida Claypool of South Dakota; and a brother, Roland Foiles of Georgia; and his niece Bobbie Altier Daniel of Ontario. His parents and first wife preceded him in death. May God let him rest in peace.
