Myrtle Lucille Hezeltine, age 94, of Fruitland, left for her eternal home with Jesus in Parma, ID Tuesday March 15, 2016. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday March 22, 2016 at Park View Cemetery, New Plymouth, ID. Chaplain Robert Cooke will officiate. She was born in Pharaoh, OK, one of three children, Claude, Myrtle and Dorothy born to Jim and Jessie (Gaines) Boyd.
Myrtle lived in Oklahoma and Washington during her growing up years. As a young woman she lived in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. She finally settled in New Plymouth, Idaho on a small farm where she raised her five children. Myrtle was busy with cooking, gardening and tending the chores as a housewife and mother. Myrtle moved to Cottonwood, AZ in 1970 beginning another chapter of her life as a successful owner & broker of Verde Valley Realty. She found her true niche in life with the challenges of buying and selling real estate, dealing with clients and staying ahead of her competition. She took up golf, oil painting and traveling. Myrtle retired form real estate and moved back to Idaho, buying a home in Fruitland. She then enjoyed fishing, camping, and family get togethers at her cabin, "Mom's Place" on the lake near Donnelly, ID. She always loved going to church and sharing her strong faith of Jesus no matter where she was living.
Myrtle's final years were spent at "By His Grace Care Home" in Parma, ID, receiving exceptional care from Michelle and Steve Davis, along with Signature Hospice Group. Myrtle is survived by her three daughters, Joan Wall of Donnelly, ID, Nancy (Bill) Zoebisch of Darby, MT, Ruby (Paul) Dunford of Syracuse, UT; son, Dean (Brenda) Anderson of New Plymouth, ID; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Roberta Manecke of Camas, WA.
