Born January 24th, 1946 in Idaho Falls, ID to Charles Haight and Lola Hensley Haight. Nancy was raised in Dubois, ID along with 3 sisters and 3 brothers. She attended school at the old Clark County School. Nancy married Gerald McCulloch June 25th, 1962, from this union came 4 children. MarJean, Jerrie, Gary, and Teresa. Gerald passed away in 1974. Nancy worked at the Legion Bar and Café waiting tables and tending bar. In 1980 Nancy and her children moved to Salt Lake City, UT. There she finished raising her children and worked as a waitress. Nancy was very devoted to her family. Soon she became a grandma and everything changed. Nancy loved her grandchildren more than life itself. It was a sure bet that on her days off she would be with the grandchildren. In 1996 Nancy moved back to Dubois, ID to help take care of her mom and assisted her brother Kim with her dad. Shortly before her dad's passing, Nancy reunited with an old friend, Vic Christenson, and he soon became the "love of her life." She started her own jewelry business, Nancy Creations. She and Vic would travel around Southeastern Idaho selling her jewelry at various shows. They couldn't have been happier traveling together, running into old friends and make lots of new friends.
To Nancy, Salt Lake was just a few minutes away, and she made several trips back and forth just to watch her grandkids play a game of football, or watch a dance recital. She never missed a graduation. Sometimes, she and Vic would surprise everyone by showing up unexpectedly. Nothing she loved more than a fresh cup of coffee and visiting with her children and teasing her grand children, "because I can." Mom's infectious smile, loving hugs, and quick wit will be deeply missed. Nancy is survived by "the love of her life" Vic Christenson; children Marjean Colt, Preston, ID, Jerrie (Don) Varner, Salt Lake City, UT, Gary McCulloch, Salt Lake City, UT, Teresa (Dan) Schwab, Salt Lake City, UT.
