Naomi Phoebe Gould

Naomi was born in Ottawa, KS on January 26, 1929 to Herbert M. Shaw and LC Ferris (Pile) Shaw. Naomi was the fifth child of eight. She graduated from Vale High School and studied Secretarial Science in Nampa, ID. She married Robert Gould in 1948 and had a daughter, Lynda Mackinnon who preceded her in death. Naomi's life also included marriages to Morris Skelton of Idaho Falls and Boise, ID, and William Burkhart of Nampa, ID and Ontario, OR. Naomi's family includes two grandsons, Mark MacKinnon of Boise, ID and T.C. MacKinnon of Portland, OR; three siblings, Rachel S. Gilbert of Boise, ID, David Shaw (Marvis) of Friant, CA and Paul Shaw (Mickey) of Fresno, CA. Family members who preceded Naomi in death includes Ruth McConnell (Hugh), Samuel Shaw (Ruth), James Shaw (Mabel) and Silas Shaw (LaVonne).
Naomi's beauty, warm personality and kindness were appreciated by her nieces and nephews and all who knew her. At Naomi's request there will be no funeral or memorial services.
