Norma June Fuller Requa, passed away Friday December 20th at Wynwood assisted living center in Twin Falls, with her son by her side.
Norma was born on June 24, 1929 in Artesian Idaho the second child of Verda Powers and Roy Fuller. The family lived for a time in Kimberly. The Family moved to Twin Falls, where Norma entered the 3rd grade. She graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1947.
In 1953 she married Edward C. Requa. 5 children were born to the marriage Michael Roy Requa, Kerry Edward Requa, Jane Marie Requa (infant deceased) Kellie Ann Requa and Joseph Todd Requa.
In 1975 after her husband's death, Norma went to work for the State of Idaho Working for the department of Health and Welfare. After many years of dedicated service she retired in 1995.
She kept active in her retirement by gardening and taking vacations with her favorite cousin. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Cyrus Requa, her parents Roy Jackson Fuller, Verda Isabell Powers Fuller, stepson Warren Schoth and her Sister Virginia Ruth Fuller Bitzenburg.
She is survived by her children Michael Roy Requa, Kerry Edward Requa, Kellie Ann Requa, Joseph Todd Requa and step daughter Maryiln Hemplemen.
She has 4 grandchildren Kelsie Requa, Greg Requa, Wendy Requa and Robert Requa and two great grandchildren.
Norma's life will be celebrated at a memorial service at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 2, 2014 at White Mortuary, Chapel by the Park, 136 4th Avenue East in Twin Falls.
