Olga Uranga Nunez, 60, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at home. A viewing for family and friends will be from 9-11:30 a.m., Friday, July 22nd at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Payette. Olga was born on June 3, 1951, daughter of Manuel Uranga, Sr. and Maria De Jesus Villarreal Uranga in Pocatello, ID and raised in Eagle Pass, TX. She moved with her family to Ontario, OR in 1962 and attended Ontario High School. Olga married then divorced and remarried in 1981 to Ramon Nunez Rojelo; separating in 1993. As a single mother of four she raised and provided for her family; always making sure we were well taken care of when she had to go to work. She always, always had a plate for us to eat even if it was just homemade tortillas and beans, but we never went without. She was a member of the Salvation Army and volunteered as a bingo caller. Olga loved to crochet in her spare time, play bingo, draw, dance, and absolutely loved playing maracas. Her energetic and humorous personality is what made her a wonderful mother and friend. Olga was a giving person, always spending time with her family and her grandchildren. They loved it when she would tell them stories of her childhood and how she was raised. She will be missed very much; she was like no other mother, one of a kind whom was appreciated for all the sacrifices she did for her us. We are very grateful to have had a wonderful mother like her and we will remember all the wonderful times together. She is now with God he took her from us in flesh but not from our hearts, for she is his child. We will miss you deeply and we will remember all you did to keep us together, thank you Mama. We love you always, rest in peace until the day we will be together again, never to separate. Olga is survived by one brother, Jose Angel Gutierrez; two sisters, Maria Louis Miranda and Armandina Nina Villarreal; three sons, David Herrera (Debbie), Ramon Nunez, Jr., and Felix Nunez; one daughter, Olga J. Herrera; and six grandchildren. Her parents, four brothers, five sisters, and one daughter, Jessica Nunez, preceded her in death.
