Paula Suarez, 66, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. She was born on January 26, 1947 in Guayama, Puerto Rico, to Santiago Suarez and Augustina Alicea Coto. She lived most of her life in Chicago and worked for about 15 years as a Sales Clerk. She attended school working on her nursing degree but wasn't able to finish. She was a very active person and very talkative as well. Survivors include her boy friend , Gerardo Cruz of Idaho Falls; one daughter, Tamara Cruz of Idaho Falls; two sisters, Carmen & Maria Suarez both of Kentucky, TN; and two brothers, Rafael Suarez of Hiyalia, Florida, and Vejilio Suarez of New York, New York; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, on the corner of 9th and Lee in Idaho Falls, with Father Raul Cararrubias, celebrant. Burial will follow at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home in Idaho Falls.
