Peggy Taylor Hudson

January 10, 1939 — December 3, 2016

Peggy Snow Taylor Hudson, 77, passed away peacefully December 3, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Wilmington, NC to Edward Snow and Kathleen Taylor.
When she was 13, and in Junior High School, there was a trouble maker in her class named Woody Hudson. At 16 they started dating. They were voted king and queen at their senior prom. She married the trouble maker right after graduating high school and began a beautiful life together. They had four children, Teri Anderson (Bruce), Woodrow Hudson Jr., Darlene Searle (Daren) and James Hudson.
Peggy and Woody were married 57 years. She devoted her life to her loving husband, children, 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woody, 2 years ago and missed him deeply.
Her favorite Bible verse is John 3:16. She taught 3rd grade Sunday School at Calvary Baptist Church for many years. She made a positive Christian impact on many children.
We love you mom and will miss you every day. Thank You for always having a snack ready for us when we got home from school. For always taking up for us, even when it was our fault. You had your hands full with us four kids, but you never gave up on us and you always loved us beyond belief.
