Peggy Lee Rogers

Peggy lee Cox Smith Rogers, 63 passed away on Tuesday August 7, 2012 at River Ridge Care Center in Twin Falls. Peggy was born on February 12, 1949 in Twin Falls to Charles Edward and Edna Lee (Clark) Cox. While growing up Peggy resided between the Browns Bench and Rogerson, Idaho. She attended and graduated from Filer High School in 1967. She married Rod Smith in June of 1968. From this union came two children Shawna and Craig. They were later divorced in 1979. Peggy later married her soul mate Greg Rogers in November of 1998. Peggy had a love for animals of all kinds especially horses. She loved spending time with her family and friends and could always appreciate hard work and dedication which helped her achieve a third degree black belt in Kokondo Bushi Karate after diligently working towards it for a decade. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Greg Rogers, two sisters, one brother and several other family members. Peggy is survived by her children; Shawna (Brian) Wade of Hazelton and Craig (Jennifer) Smith of Star, Idaho; and by 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family would like to send a special thank you to the Twin Falls Dialysis Center for the care she received from them. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Eden, Idaho. Arrangements are under the direction of Dustin Godfrey and the Staff at White Mortuary "Chapel by the Park".
