Penny Ann Croner, 71, of Payette, passed away peacefully in her home with her husband at her side on the 1st of March 2016. She was eldest of two children, born on the 3rd of July 1944 in Duluth, MN to Robert and Ruth Neipp. Penny led an active life raising her two daughters, Lisa and Stephanie, while following her heartfelt nursing career of over 40 years. Her passions included downhill skiing, traveling, shopping until she dropped and watching her two grandsons grow. As a Life Member of the Auxiliary's of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Penny enjoyed the functions, meetings and traveling involved with her membership. She touched many lives and everyone that ever met her couldn't help but love and admire her ability to maintain a positive and upbeat attitude, even when she was suffering physically. She successfully fought the cancer demons, as well as a host of other physical challenges with unbelievable stamina. She is survived by her devoted husband, Denny; loving daughters, Lisa Litt and Stephanie Camerino; son-in-law, John Camerino; grandsons, Zachary and Joshua; her sister, Colleen and her husband Mark Jeronimous and their daughters, Sarah and Lisa. Her extended family includes step daughters, Carrie Alia, Debra Street and Lisa Statz and their respective families. Per Penny's request, in lieu of holding a gala celebration of her life locally, she asked that any donations in her behalf be contributed in her name to the Payette Valley VFW Post 278 Relief Fund, P.O. Box 517, Payette, ID 83661. Donations will be used to recognize the contributions our educators do in promoting citizenship education for their students.
