Darlene was born April 23, 1934 to Leo Elias Marsters and Lucile Lulu Marsters in Meridian, Idaho. Darlene was educated in, and spent her early years in High Valley, Idaho. She graduated from Meridian High, continuing her education at th U of I.
Darlene was married in 1955 to Philip Eugene DeLaune and had one daughter, Danae Ann. The family moved to Payette, Idaho where Philip passed away. Darlene worked at the Dept. of Employment in Payette 20 plus years. Darlene had a beautiful talent for painting and carried that on into her later years.
Darlene and Phil Leon Skelly were married by Darlene's younger brother Alvin Marsters in 1972 in a beautiful wintery outdoor wedding in High Valley, Idaho. They honeymooned in Switzerland with Darlene's parents.
During the first years of marriage Darlene and Phil worked together at M & M Real Estate in Payette. Phil transitioned from M & M to ReMax in Fruitland. During this time Darlene found a new career in Interior Designing and it flourished.
Phil and Darlene spent much of their free time at their cabin in High Valley, vacationing on the coast, and their many trips together and caring for their numerous pets.
Darlene is preceeded in death by her parents, Leo and Lucile Marsters, a brother Alvin Marsters, a son in law Jerry Morelock Jr. and grandson Rory Tyler.
She is survived by daughters; Danae Ann,Tracy, Tammy and Tara; grandchildren Christana, Matthew, Kyle, Krista, Jake, Jesse, Jace Johnna, Chandra, & Colten. Grandchildren, Kao and Kyza, Jayda and Quinn and numerous neices and nephews.

Phil Leon Skelly and his wife of 45 years, Darlene Anne Skelly, passed away in a tragic house fire in the late night hours of January 2, 2018. Funeral service will be held for Darlene and Phil at 2:00 pm Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Payette Church of the Nazarene, 1980 7th Ave. N. Payette, ID. Phil was born December 3, 1938 to Lee Earl Skelly and Francis Irene Skelly in Topeka, KA. Phil was educated and graduated from Caldwell high school in 1957 and was an exceptional athlete in both basketball and football and was an avid BSU and Dallas Cowboys football fan. He later attended the College of Idaho as well as the U of I as he continued his athletics. Phil married Jan Howard in 1959 and in 1960 they moved to Salt Lake where their first two girls, Tracy Lee and Tamara Ann were born.
In 1964 the family moved to Caldwell to help start the family Dry Cleaning business "Skelly's One Hour Martinizing." In 1965 Tara September was born.
In 1966 Phil, Jan and the girls moved to Payette, Idaho to begin another "Skelly's Dry Cleaners" in Ontario, Oregon. Phil and Jan later divorced.
In 1972 Phil married Darlene Marsters DeLaune in a Valentine Day themed wedding in High Valley, Idaho and a honeymoon in Switzerland accompanied with Darlene's parents, Leo and Lucile Marsters. Phil left the dry cleaning business and began a succesful career in Real Estate known then as "M & M Realty" later transitioning to ReMax Realty where he was a broker until he retired.
Phil is preceeded in death by his parents, Lee & Irene Skelly, brother in law Dick Dorman, grandson Rory Tyler.
He is survived by his daughters, Tracy Krekeler, Tammy Burke, Tara Britt, Danae Morelock, a son Bryce Allen Stephens; grandchildren, Kyle Krekeler, Krista Koeppen, Chandra Price, Colten Burke, Jake Loftis, Jesse Loftis, Johnna Phillips, Jace Gibron, Christana Morelock, Matthew Morelock; great grandchildren, Kao and Kyza Koeppen, Jayda Phillips and Quinn Loftis. A brother, Rick Skelly, a sister Carol Dorman and numerous neices and nephews.
