Raymon Eugene "Ray" Kittelmann, 79, of Payette, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, February 13th at the United Methodist Church, Payette. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Condolences may be made to Ray's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Ray was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Clarence Redfurd and Lina "Boots" Kittleman on December 25, 1935. In 1942, Boots married Chester Kittelmann who raised Ray as his son. Ray attended Ontario High School graduating in 1955. He married Lyna Lambert in 1973. He loved sports, especially baseball and played slow-pitch baseball and coached boys' leagues until he was in his 50's. Ray loved the New York Yankees and was known for his passion for Boise State Bronco Football. Ray and Lyna held season tickets to the Broncos for years where the never missed a game all decked out in their blue and orange. He also loved his pets, fishing, camping, gardening and traveling. Ray was especially proud to have been to both Hawaii and Alaska. He is survived by his wife, Lyna Kittelmann; three daughters, Nancy LaBeaf (Mike), Tammi Thompson (Tim) and Heidi Clarke (Ben); a son, Rick Kittelmann (Jeannie); nine grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; three siblings, Francis Kittelman (Janet), Diana Hartley (Ray) and Jan Bolin (Joe); and one very special great nephew, Brandon Mills. Ray also has three special exchange student daughters, Sophie Poison from France, Marika (Perko) Bloomster from Finland and Judith Orozco from Mexico.
