Reti Rolph, 93 of Twin Falls formerly of Jerome died Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at her home.
Reti was born on August 17, 1918 in El Dorado, Kansas the daughter of Andrew Jack and Elizabeth Ellis, but raised by her stepfather Elmer E. Allen, from age 3 till she was married. She was raised and educated in El Dorado.
She married her high school sweetheart, Virgil M. Perry on January 16, 1938 in Wheaton, Illinois. They lived in El Dorado for several years before moving to Pasadena, California in 1942. They later visited King Hill, Idaho and liked it so much they returned in 1945 with her family where they ranched in the Pasadena Basin. They later moved to Glenn's Ferry where she worked for Connie's Café for several years. They then moved to Shoshone where she worked for the Boston Café before joining the staff at Wood River Convalescent Center. They moved to Gooding where, Reti worked at the State Tuberculosis Hospital. They then moved to Blackfoot where she was in charge of the Tuberculosis Ward. In 1959, they owned and operated the Crystal Court and Motel in Jerome for 20 years. After selling the Motel in 1973 they operated Perry's Place Rentals. She also worked at St. Benedict's Hospital as a CNA and a Respiratory Aid until her retirement in 1979.
Following their retirement Reti and Virgil enjoyed going south for the winters. On March 27, 1990 passed away after 52 years of marriage. On June 8, 1991 she married Jay L. Rolph. They spent their winters around Yuma, Arizona.
Reti enjoyed the outdoors and loved riding her four wheeler at Magic Mountain and in the deserts around Yuma. She also enjoyed the time she spent with her family. She had a great love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as her step grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; Jay of Twin Falls and two sons; Tracy E. (Lois) Perry of Longmont, Colorado and Everett M. (Mary) Perry of Edmonds, Washington and a daughter; Patricia (Bill) Kluckhohn of Pocatello, Idaho. Eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She is also survived by four step daughters; Billie Gay (Ronie) Phillips of Emmett, Idaho Ronda (Steve) Stone of Malino, Oregon and Colleen (David) Rogers of Eugene, Oregon and Nancy (Dick) Hoyer, Twin Falls and a stepson; Thomas (Linda) Rolph of Pocatello and eight step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil her parents and stepfather three brothers and three sisters.
A memorial service for Reti will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at White Mortuary "Chapel by the Park".
