Richard "Dick" Dorman, 77, loving husband, father, and grandfather, of Payette, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012. Come celebrate his life with us at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 11th at the Valley Christian Church, 1325 NW 1½ Ave., Fruitland. Richard was the son of Harvey and Bertha (Woods) Dorman born on Jan 8, 1935 in Yale, OK. He married his sweetheart and love of his life Carol Skelly in 1953. Dick enjoyed countless happy hours hunting, fishing, and story-telling at their cabin with family and friends in Cambridge, ID. He was a life-long business entrepreneur and served in the Air Force for 31 years with the retired rank of Master Sergeant. Dick also served five years in the Elks BPOE #1690 as a Trustee. Dick loved his family and friends dearly. He is survived by his wife, Carol; his two sons, Dan (Laurie) and Mark (Julie) Dorman; his daughter, Robin Wilson (Carvin); his six grandchildren, Tiffany, Jake, Jamie, Dani, Saiber, and Katelyn; and his five great grandchildren, Trace, Kirk, Elle, Kache, and Mylee. Memorials may be made to the Valley Christian Church in Fruitland or the Ontario Elks BPOE #1690, c/o Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, P.O. Box 730, Payette, ID 83661.
