RICHARD WALKER KRAMER
IDAHO FALLS - Richard Walker Kramer, 96, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at his home in Idaho Falls. He was born on February 27, 1917 in Dekalb, Illinois to Charles and Gertrude Steuben Kramer. He attended high school in Ingelwood, California and went on to the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. He married Cora Ruby Kramer who died in 2000. He married Linda Lamborn on May 19, 2006 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Idaho Falls. Richard was an aeronautical engineer, working on projects from the Titan missile to nuclear power. He was honest and true and always stood strong in the face of adversity. He was a good man, a good husband, father and friend. He was a champion trap shooter and an avid fisherman. He was a 32nd degree Mason and became a Shriner at the age of 91.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Kramer; son, Brian P. Fox of Boise; daughters, Linda Palmer and Michelle Benson of Idaho Falls, and Marianne Fox of Coeur d'Alene; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Charles Kramer; his sister, Elizabeth Kenyon; and his mother and father, Charles and Gertrude Kramer.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls. A viewing for family and friends will be held prior to the funeral at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls.
