Dave Hunter went to join the Lord on July 29, 2011. He was born on November 30, 1924 in Kemmerer, WY to David and Lucille Hunter. Dave married the love of his life, Pauline in 1947. He and Pauline loved to travel throughout the years in many of their motor homes and travel trailers they owned, often boon docking and exploring many places in California, Nevada and Arizona. In their travels South they always began their journey in Apache Junction, AZ. From there they would strike out to just about anywhere they wanted to visit. Dave's greatest joy came from playing with his kids and grandkids, as he was always a kid at heart.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline, his daughters, Rebecca Hudon (Chuck) of Kennewick, WA, and "Boots" Soelberg (Steve) of Twin Falls, ID, a brother Calvin Hunter and a sister Lavaughn Bullock, five grand children, and two great grand children. Dave was preceded in death by his mother Lucille, his father David, his brother George and a great grandson Sutton. Dave grew up in Wyoming but called Idaho Falls his home for the last 55 years. Dave worked for Wilcox Construction in and around Idaho Falls and Montana areas. Later he owned and operated his own trucking and hauling business.
