Robert was born June 24, 1924 in Idaho Falls to Arthur Warner and Agnes Faye Fullenwider Lundblade. He grew up on the family farm in New Sweden that was homesteaded by his Swedish grandparents. He was a graduate of New Sweden Elementary and Idaho Falls High School. He married his High School Sweetheart, Marion Joy Redfield at her parents' home on November 7, 1943. Upon their marriage he took over the Lundblade family farm where he and Marion lived the rest of their lives and raised 3 delightful daughters. Robert was an excellent farmer and cattleman. He served on the board of Directors for Idaho Potato Growers and Superior Honey Company in Los Angeles, CA and was an active member of the Idaho Cattleman's Association. He was a Lifetime member of Eagle Rock Masonic Lodge and O.E.S. Henrietta Chapter 22. He was an El Korah Shriner, helped start the El Korah Kart Kore and participated in food caravans each fall for the Shrine Crippled Children's Hospital in Salt Lake. He loved donning his ‘Limpy' Shrine Clown costume and bringing happiness and fun into the lives of others - tying balloons for kids, entertaining with puppets and driving his purple jeep in eastern Idaho parades. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and sang with the choir for over 30 years. Being a farmer he had very little free time but he always found time to enjoy the out-of doors and regularly took his family to Island Park, Yellowstone, Palisades and Heise. He loved to give his ‘girls' new experiences and expand their worlds, especially a love of agriculture, nature, the out of doors, Family was the first priority on his recreation list but he also enjoyed fishing, hunting. snowmobiling, snowshoeing, golf and Dutch-oven cooking. Down thru the years he recorded family events and history on an 8mm movie camera, (beginning with his first camera at the age of 17) and later with a camcorder. Preserving his heritage was always a priority. And at the same time as all of the above, he always had time to stop and help others. He is survived by his 3 daughters - Janice Joy ‘Jan' (Larry) Karinen, Idaho Falls; Linda Lee (Stillman) Anderson, Boise; Roberta Ann ‘Bobbie' (Lonnie) Wilson, Waco, Texas. He has 7 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren with #11 on the way. He was preceded in death by his wife Marion, sisters Afton Callahan & Helen Davis and brothers Wayne & Donald Lundblade.
