Sara Ellen Crystal, 42, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at a home of a friend, of natural causes. She was born on September 3, 1973, in Greenfield, Massachusetts, to Charles and Patricia Gibas Hiatt II. Our Sara - She left this world way too soon for all of us who love her. Sara met the love of her life Adam Crystal in Jackson, Wyoming. They were joined in marriage on March 24, 1996. Sara always would smile and say they were "made from the same fabric." Sara and Adam were truly in love and dedicated to each other for all of the 19 years they were married. Sara found her purpose in life when her son Jaden was born on July 3, 1999. She gave him her love for life and of course her one of a kind Sara attitude. She attended schools in Eagle Mountain, California, Bancroft, Idaho, and Bonneville High School. She later graduated high school in Tempe, Arizona. Sara earned her LPN certificate from EITC. She spent many years in the nursing profession. Her calling was geriatrics and she excelled at it, gaining many guardian angels along the way. She later created and managed her and Adam's construction company. Most importantly, Sara was a Christian. We are certain she was met by a band of guardian angels for all of the kindness and love she had shown them in this life. She found her closeness to God in the great outdoors. She was a natural at camping, and a fearless explorer. She spent days with her family rock hounding for Topaz in Utah. She always out-fished the rest of us and was one hell of a shot with her rifle. Sara was a joy to be around when she sang. We all enjoyed her beautiful voice. Sara loved her two dogs and her cat. She overcame many obstacles in her life, as she was a determined and strong woman. She will be forever missed by her friends and family who love her. Survivors include her beloved husband, Adam Crystal; her son, Jaden Crystal, whom she cherished; her parents, C.L. and Patricia Hiatt; her brother, Shane (Amy) Hiatt; and her sister, Maegan Whitman, all of Idaho Falls; her auntie Susie Coon of Portland, Oregon, and auntie Karen Romjue of La Barge, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Kittie Hiatt of Colorado, and Edward and Theda Gibas of Massachusetts. Memorial Celebration will be announced and held at a later date.
