Stacey Hare

March 1, 1976 — February 19, 2014

Stacey Hare, 37, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. She was born on March 1, 1976, in Idaho Falls, the daughter of Vern and Betty Mclin Hare. She attended and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in Idaho Falls. She received her CNA degree and Medical Records degree from Eastern Idaho Technical College in Idaho Falls. Stacey met and married John Emmons in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. She utilized her CNA at nursing homes in the area and later moved with her daughter China to Boise. She worked several nursing homes there and then ran a facility in Boise. Later as the time and care needs increased for her grandparents beyond what family could supply, she moved back with a roommate, also a CNA, and were there for them 24hrs a day fulfilling a promise to never be sent to a nursing home.

She kept the grandparents occupied all the time, having them telling stories that went with every picture as she was scanning them into a computer, playing the Dean Martin Show, and John Wayne over and over, and working endlessly in the stamp books, with both grand parents although he tired of it fairly quickly, She even hauled blankets, lawn chairs, coolers, radios, and gear down to a perfect spot on the green belt to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July She loved to be busy and loved beading, crocheting, sewing, making jewelry and minor car repairs, especially with her dad. She was devoted to her daughter and there are no words to describe how much China Rose will miss her. Survivors include her daughter, China Rose; her brother, Ben Hare; sister-in-law, Cindy Hare; nephew, Dylan Hare; father Vern Hare; and step-mother, Brenda Hare, all of Idaho Falls. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Betty Hare and by her mother Betty Mclin Hare.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls.
