Susan Avis Stewart

Susan Avis Stewart, 82, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at her home in Idaho Falls. She was born on October 8, 1932, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Henry & Emily Heflin. Susan has a journalism degree from the University of New Mexico. She married Milan Stewart in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1952. Susan was a loving mother of five children. Survivors include two sons, Jay Stewart of Idaho Falls and Tom Stewart of Boise; two daughters, Shelley Stewart of Portland, Oregon, and Katie Stewart of Idaho Falls; two sisters, Pat Roth and Sarah Heflin, both of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and one granddaughter, Taylor Stewart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milan Stewart and her son David Stewart. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls. Online condolences may be left at www.buckmillerhann.com.
