Theodore Martsch

Theodore "Ted" Martsch, 91, of Payette, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011 in Ontario. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm, Saturday, Nov. 12th at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Payette. Ted was born May 27, 1920 in American Falls, ID. He was the eighth of 13 children; ten boys and three girls. In 1954, he married Betty, his wife of 57 years, in West Virginia. Ted, Betty, and their son Bill moved to Payette in 1974 where he lived for the remainder of his life. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Gottleib and Lydia (Mayer) Martsch; all nine of his brothers and two of his sisters. He is survived by one sister, Viola Hawkes of Hawaii; his wife, Betty; his son, Bill; daughter-in-law, Sue; two grandsons, Christian and Andrew Martsch; and many nieces and nephews.
