Thomas Saunders Ladley

Tom was born July 24, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA. He was the son of Raymond and Dorothy (LeVan) Ladley. Tom attended school in Pennsylvania, Nevada and New Mexico. Tom enlisted in the United States Coast Guard and served proudly from 1959 through 1963. He was in active duty, stationed in the Ryukin Islands and Northern California. Tom was a life-long member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He served as business agent for the union in Central Colorado. He returned to Idaho upon retirement, living until his passing in Payette. Tom married Janice in 1988. Tom and Jan shared many years working together and loved their retirement together. They traveled with their friends spending winters in Arizona and Southern California. Tom had two sons, Tom Jr. and Raymond, with his first wife, Margie. Jan brought three sons to the family; Mike, Pat and Nick. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Jan; five sons; two sisters, Susan and Diane; four grandsons, three granddaughters, five great granddaughters and one great grandson. Tom loved his family, old cars, old movies, good hamburgers, driving big trucks and cold American beer. He will be missed. The family is planning a gathering of Tom's friends and family in the spring. A notice will run prior to the gathering in the Argus Observer or check with the Ontario Elks Lodge. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette.
