Viola Lee Taylor, 90, of New Plymouth, passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2015. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 11th at Riverside Cemetery, Payette. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Condolences may be made to Viola's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Viola was born Oct. 17, 1924 to Augustus "Gus" and Francis "Fannie" Neel in Wilder, ID. In 1939, she married Jack Taylor and remained by his side for 65 years until his passing in 2007. She loved music, reading, sewing and being a loving mother to her three children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack; two granddaughters, Kathy Wilson and Peggy Jamison; seven brothers and sisters. Viola is survived by her children, Barbara Enslow (Charles) of Florence, OR, Marjorie Randall (Clark) of Ontario, OR and Larry Taylor of New Plymouth, ID; a brother, Kenny Neel and sister, Wanda Herrlin both of Sacramento, CA; a granddaughter, Angie Lanterman of Boise, ID; three great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. We will all miss her and remember the happiness she brought in our lives.
