Fredrick C. Kienlen, 83 years young, longtime resident of Idaho Falls lost his battle with cancer on October 26nd, 2022.
Fred was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where he met and married his amazing wife, Rose. They were married for 55 blessed years and together they raised five children, Danny, Pat, Angie, Katina and an unofficial son, Nate. Fred and Rose have 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Fred loved cars and car racing, skiing, black powder guns, yelling at his bulldogs, making and sharing his "sippin' whiskey", watching football and watching the Barret-Jackson Car Auction at Thanksgiving Dinner. Fred also enjoyed reading Louis L'amour, history and listening to Don Edwards.
Fred was an amazing man and a true legend that will be missed by many.
A Rosary will be held on Thursday, November 3rd from 6:30-8pm at Buck-Murphy Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th. St. in Idaho Falls. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church on Friday, November 4th at 10:30am with private burial to follow at cemetery, and a luncheon after at Christ the King Church Hall at 1690 E. 17th St. in Idaho Falls.
