Milton Child Hooper was born January 30th 1925 to Margret and Frank Hooper in Hooper, Utah. He was the fourth oldest of nine children. He married Mary Ellen Knickerbocker for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on April 14th 1943. Soon after being married Milton was drafted into the US Army while he and Mary were expecting their first child Dennis Dean Hooper. Milton returned to Hooper Utah, after serving for two years. They were soon blessed with their first daughter Gwendolyn Maurine Hooper (Grogan). They decided to move to Nyssa, Oregon where they were blessed with two more children Milton Chris Hooper and Connie Lynn Hooper (Frates). In 1959 they moved to New Plymouth where they ran a farm, opened a restaurant, and bought a small home on Holly Avenue where they started and ran Hooper's garage for many, many years. Milton and Mary provided many years of service to the community of New Plymouth which they loved dearly. Our family would like to especially thank Heart and Home Hospice (Sue and Trina), Zions Bank (Julia Holly and Laura), and Heidi at the Club for their kindness and friendship over the last couple of years. He is survived by his son Dennis (Carol) and his daughter Connie (Randy) and his 23 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.

Milton was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary, his son Chris, his daughter Gwen, two grandchildren and seven of his siblings.
